Overview
In subscribing to Connexun services, you have accepted the purchase order as presented to you by Connexun or our designated affiliates. By your subscription, acceptance of the purchase order, and /or any use of Connexun products or services, you or the entity that you represent (“Customer”), are unconditionally consenting to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the applicable purchase order (The Agreement”).
This Agreement is effective as of the date of Subscription.
API License
Subject to Customer’s compliance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Connexun News and Text Analysis API (Connexun API) grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access and use the API Service.
And under this license you may not (or allow those acting on your behalf to):
- Sublicense the API for use by a third party. Consequently, you will not create an API Client that functions substantially the same as the APIs and offer it for use by third parties.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code from the API or site.
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials.
- Attempt to circumvent any restrictions or limits placed on your API key or account.
- Attempt to build a competing news database.
This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Connexun at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.
API Data usage
Connexun collects and generates certain data by aggregating information regarding publicly available web pages, utilizing Company’s proprietary technology. This data does not contain any personally identifiable information regarding any end users. As part of the Service, certain data is made publicly available to end-users.
Data accessible through Connexun may contain Third Party Content (such as text, images, videos obtained from various news sources). This content will remain the sole responsibility of those who make it available. In some cases content accessible through our Services may also be subject to intellectual property rights. In these cases you are allowed only to perform actions and activities that are awarded to you by the owner of the content.
Unless applicable by law or expressly permitted by the owner, you will not with the Data returned from the API:
- Misrepresent the ownership or the source;
- Obscure, remove or change any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal notices, or other labels of the origin or source of material.
Unless expressly authorized herein, you may not publicly release or disclose any data or usage statistics or other information regarding the Data.
Attribution
Unless otherwise authorised, you shall agree to display an attribution to Connexun alongside any implementation or display of the Connexun Data to indicate that Connexun/ B.I.R.B.AL technology is being used. The attribution should preferably be a hyperlink to https://www.connexun.com with the text "Powered by Connexun API".

Commercial / Payment terms
The monthly price for using the service is determined based on your requirements. In order to obtain more details please contact us for an offer. By subscribing to a monthly plan you agree to pay the Company the monthly fee for using the service.
Unless you unsubscribe, your subscription will be automatically renewed and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable monthly fee for the service using the credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you. Once you unsubscribe, you can still use the service until the end of the month, at which point you will be charged for usage for the last time. The company will not issue a refund for the current or any previous months.
The company reserves the right to change the payment terms and fees upon thirty (30) days after a written notice to you.
Customer data
Any personal information collected from Customer will be securely held and processed in accordance with local law and will never be shared with or sold to third parties.
You agree to allow us to send you important notifications via email to the email address we have on record for you. You can opt out from these at any time.
Copyright infringement
If you believe that material located on or linked to by Service violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify Company in accordance with Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Policy. The Company will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material.
Disclaimer
Connexun API, all related Services and Data are provided “AS IS” on an “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranty or condition of any kind. Connexun disclaims all warranties; express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and any warranties or conditions arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. Connexun is not responsible or liable (and makes no representation or warranty) for the accuracy, content, completeness, legality, reliability, or availability of the API.
Indentification
You will defend, indemnify and hold Connexun harmless against any third party claims, liabilities or expenses incurred (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), as well as amounts finally awarded in a settlement or by a court arising from any claim or allegation by a third party arising out of (i) allegations that Customer's usage of Connexun service infringes or misappropriates any trademark, copyright or other intellectual property of any third party, (ii) Customer’s use of Data, (iii) Connexun services that are modified by Customer if the alleged infringement relates to such modification; (iv) Connexun services that are combined with any Customer product, process or materials where the alleged infringement relates to such combination; (v) Customer’s use of a version of the Connexun services other than the version that was current at the time of such use; (vi) infringement or misappropriation of any proprietary right in which Customer has an interest; or (vii) your breach or alleged breach of any of your obligations or representations under this Agreement.
Limitations
In no event shall Connexun or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Connexun website and Connexun API, even if Connexun or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
Modifications
Connexun may revise these terms of service for its website at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
Limitations
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
